The Dells and Then Vegas

I am getting so very excited about this weekend. The girls (Cory, Jen and Tonny) are taking me to the Dells Friday night for a birthday celebration. We are staying at an awesome water-park, and we are also going to the casino there in the Dells. The water park that they chose is one that I've really wanted to stay at, and I can't believe that we really ARE staying there. I can't wait to be going down the water slides and playing in the pools with my friends. Sometimes I feel like I am 12, hehe. It's really such a great surprise though, and I am so touched that they planned something that really fit the things that I enjoy doing. I really am looking forward to the whole experience, and I just know that we are going to have an awesome time! Heck, we have an awesome time everytime we are together, no matter what we are doing, but I still can't believe that they planned all this just for me, I feel so special and loved. It is so nice having such awesome friends. I can't seem to get any work done though, I keep looking stuff up on the Dells and Vegas, lol. They already have everything all planned, but it is fun to look at it all anyway. I can't wait!

Then...we are going to Vegas in February! I am just so excited. We were asked to go months ago, and we really just were not sure if we were going to, mostly because of the timing of it all. It is the week before final exams here at work and that usually means being pretty busy. Stephen usually has their big exam the Friday before Finals too, and so it just seemed like it wouldn't work out. Finally, we decided to just ask and see if we could make it work, and I am glad we did. Turns out Stephen's exams are not until Tuesday of Final's week and while I have one on both Monday and Tuesday, my faculty is willing to get the exams done a week in advance so that I can have them finalized before I leave.

There is a big group going, Stephen's parents, aunt's, uncle's, cousins, etc. Most of them booked their trip a week ago, but we had to wait until Stephen came back to work from vacation to ask if he check the schedules and see if he could take that time off. I didn't want to ask my boss until I was sure he could do it, so I asked yesterday and we got our trip booked last night. We were able to get the same flight out on that Tuesday as my MIL and FIL, but we come back a couple hours after they do on Friday. No biggie at all. And, one of Stephen's cousins just booked last night as well, so she is on both same flights as us. It's working out nicely. I am so excited!

I love Vegas! I love everything about it, and I am glad that we have this opportunity to go. Just a little more than a month away now too, hehe, yippee. I can't wait! Lot's of fun stuff coming up now!!
